पटना का सिन्हा परिवार जिसने थिएटर को ना सिर्फ जिन्दा रखा, बल्कि उसे एक परंपरा बना दिया। इस परिवार की तीन पीढ़ियों ने बिहार में थिएटर को कई सालों से ज़िंदा रखा है। साल 1929 में कैलाश बिहारी सिन्हा ने 'पैलेस ऑफ वैरायटी' थिएटर की नींव रखी, जहां पृथ्वीराज कपूर जैसे दिग्गजों ने अपने अभिनय का जादू बिखेरा। धीरे धीरे ये रीजेंट सिनेमा में बदल गया और उसके बाद इनके बेटे शिवेंद्र सिन्हा ने इसे आगे बढ़ाया। अब सिन्हा परिवार की तीसरी पीढ़ी सुमन सिन्हा ने इस थिएटर की कमान संभाली है और आज भी उसी जुनून से इसे आगे बढ़ा रही हैं।
