The suspect in the arson at the governor's mansion in Harrisburg turns himself in and admitted to the attack... 38 year old Cody Balmer is arraigned and denied bail. Governor Shapiro and his family are okay after evacuating. Balmer now faces eight counts, including attempted homicide, terrorism, and arson. It would affect so many riders who rely on public transportation each day as dozens of bus routes and a handful of regional rail lines would be on the chopping block. A tragic update to yesterday morning's breaking news. Two young sisters have died in a massive fire in Millville, Cumberland County that tore through six homes. The girls' father tells NBC10 he alerted the girls of the fire, then went to get his two-year-old twins. It was only when he got outside that he realized the older girls weren't with him. Arcelia (ar-SAY-lee-yuh) Espinosa is a community activist: She says there was a language barrier, because the firefighters knocking on doors didn't speak Spanish. Firefighters say they lost precious time, because a hydrant near the homes wasn't working. And a gas supply line was severed when a home collapsed, helping to fuel the flames. A jury has found two men guilty of murdering a sanitation worker in Philadelphia's Mayfair neighborhood in 2022. But following a hearing in bankruptcy court Thursday afternoon, there is still no permanent solution in place. Pennsylvania State Police have completed the rollout of body-worn cameras for all on-duty troopers. They say they've done it weeks before schedule and on-budget. Firefighters battling a building fire along the 2200 block of South Street Wed night in South Philadelphia discovered a body of a man seemingly buried there. Deputy Police Commissioner Fran Vanore says he was bound and placed in a shallow grave in the basement area of the structure which was being renovated. In addition to Homicide detectives, the Medical Examiner, Fire Marshal and Arson Task force are involved in the investigation. A third suspect wanted in connection with a deadly shootout at a West Philadelphia Rec center more than two-years-ago has been arrested. Philadelphia city council member Jaime Gauthier is out to save food trucks on Drexel’s campus. She introduced two bills, at today’s council session, pushing back against the University’s crackdown on overnight parking.

One child is confirmed dead and another is still unaccounted for after a fire tore through several homes in Millville late Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
