What Makes Wisconsin Great: “Old Home Week” (Hour 2)

4/3/2025
Todd kicks off the second hour by reuniting with some old friends. Kari Pink, the Interim Executive Communications Officer at UWM, has been a close friend of Todd’s for over 40 years, and she helped to make this campus visit possible. Today also marks the first time Todd is on air with his old broadcast partner Kevin O’Connor in 30 years! Kevin now serves as the UWM Licensing & Product Development Manager, and he talks about how marketing helps to fund student scholarships. After talking with Kevin, we reveal the true identity of UWM’s mascot, Pounce the Panther! Well, not really, but we do have an exclusive interview with the man behind the mask. At the bottom of the hour, we welcome several members of the cast of UWM’s production of Dames at Sea, a campy musical set in the 1930s. Alyna Williams, Abby McBee, and Lucas Drube are all Musical Theatre majors whose performances blew Todd away, inspiring him to bring the show to Milwaukee today. What Makes Wisconsin Great: UW-Milwaukee (Hour 1)

4/3/2025
Today, Todd broadcasts live from UW-Milwaukee for another addition to the What Makes Wisconsin Great tour! UWM too often plays second fiddle to UW-Madison, but it deserves much more credit. Todd is joined by Chancellor Mark Mone, who has served in the role for 11 years and is stepping down this July to shepherd in new leadership. He conveys the importance of UW-Milwaukee as a level one research school and an accessible university for non-traditional students. We also welcome Kim Litwak, Dean of the College of Health Professions & Sciences to speak on how the University is working to address Wisconsin’s healthcare shortage. Veronica Burns, a current UWM nursing student, also chimes in on why she’s choosing this career path. “When The Worst Of Times Bring Out The Best In People” (Hour 2)

4/2/2025
This afternoon, Todd asks us What’s Worse: passive aggressive or aggressive? Trygve sticks around to give his take. At the bottom of the hour, Madison-based filmmaker and renaissance man John Roach joins us to talk about his new documentary film, A Road at Night, that will be screened this Sunday at the Wisconsin Film Festival. A Road at Night follows the tragically beautiful story of Howard Moore, a former UW Basketball player and assistant coach who lost nearly everything in a car accident with a drunk driver a few years ago. “Extremism Has Hit The Wall” with Dale Schultz (Hour 1)

4/2/2025
Last night, Wisconsin elected Judge Susan Crawford to become our next state supreme court justice. Trygve Olson of The Lincoln Project joins us to give his take on this election and what it means for Wisconsinites. There’s a national narrative that this election was a referendum on Elon Musk meddling in politics, but Trygve doesn’t believe this to be the sole factor that decided the outcome. At the bottom of the hour, former Republican State Senate Majority Leader Dale Schultz joins Todd and Trygve to talk about the political moment we find ourselves in after yesterday’s election. Schultz believes that Wisconsinites are getting sick of how the Trump administration is mistreating our allies and veterans alike. Even Joe Rogan Is Calling Trump Out (Hour 2)

4/1/2025
In our second hour, Todd delves further into some of the numbers on today’s state supreme court election. Ultimately, everything is looking incredibly close. We finish up today’s show with new information on the alleged “gang members” who were sent to Salvadoran prisons without due process. The Trump administration has admitted that at least one person was sent to these inhumane prisons erroneously. Even conservative podcaster Joe Rogan is calling out this unacceptable circumvention of justice. It’s No Joke: Be A Voter Today with Pat Kreitlow (Hour 1)

4/1/2025
Finally, after two and a half years, Todd has successfully infiltrated the woke den of liberal indoctrination that is Civic Media. Just kidding! Pat Kreitlow of UpNorthNews Radio joins us this Tuesday, April first to talk about something that isn’t a joke: today’s election for state supreme court and state superintendent. Lately, Civic Media has been running several political ads endorsing Brad Schimel. While we as a company do not endorse him, we are legally obligated to run all ads submitted by political candidates. Todd breaks down the lies in one of the most egregiously false ads running on our network. “Wisconsin Is Not For Sale” with LG Sara Rodriguez (Hour 2)

3/31/2025
This afternoon, Lieutenant Governor Sara Rodriguez joins us from the road in Green Bay to talk about the state of healthcare in Wisconsin. The UW-System is doing a lot for healthcare workers and retention, but our Republican-led legislature is lagging behind nearly the entire country when it comes to Medicare and Medicaid funding. We are one of two states that hasn’t expanded funding for postpartum Medicaid. At the bottom of the hour, Civic Media Political Editor and Founder of The Recombobulation Area Dan Shafer joins us to expand on tomorrow’s election. Aside from the supreme court and state superintendent races, the ballot has a referendum to amend the Wisconsin constitution. This amendment would require voters to have a photo ID, which is already the law in Wisconsin. Todd walks through his unique personal involvement in Wisconsin voter ID bills, and Dan explains what the motivation for this referendum may be. Upholding The Law In Wisconsin (Hour 1)

3/31/2025
Tomorrow, Wisconsin holds its state supreme court election. Today, Judge Susan Crawford joins us on the phone for one last discussion before the people make their choice. At The Todd Allbaugh Show, we encourage everybody to vote regardless of who they’re voting for. However, we believe Judge Crawford has proven herself to be a competent and nonpartisan judge who upholds the law, compared to Brad Schimel’s brazen support of the MAGA agenda. Todd ends the hour by covering President Trump’s latest claims that he will run for a third term. He isn’t joking, and we go over the groundwork that his administration has been laying to make it happen. Weekly Best of Todd Allbaugh Show for Mar 29

3/29/2025
From Thursday's show: Trump's Latest Order Disenfranchises 21 Million Voters (Hour 1) Today, the Milwaukee Brewers kick off their season in New York against the Yankees. Todd takes some time to celebrate Bob Uecker and the Brew Crew. On Tuesday, President Trump signed an executive order that could cost approximately 21 million Americans their vote. This order gives Elon Musk access to voter rolls and requires proof of citizenship to vote. A tremendous portion of Americans do not have a current passport. Additionally, military IDs and driver’s licenses don’t count in many states. If somebody has changed their name for any reason and it no longer matches their birth certificate, that doesn’t count either. Todd shares reporting from investigative journalist Greg Palast on what this order may do and why it matters to all of us. 3/28/2025

Conservatives Demand Accountability For “Signalgate” (Hour 2)

3/27/2025
We’ve spent some time this week already talking about “Signalgate,” the fiasco where Pete Hegseth and Michael Waltz added a journalist to a group chat discussing classified military plans. This gross negligence could have put American lives in grave danger. Now, even conservative podcasters are frustrated with the Trump administration. Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports, is now calling for Michael Waltz to step down. Parking Cars And Taking Names (Hour 2)

3/26/2025
After giving us the next keyword in the Break Into Spring Text To Win Contest, Todd asks us What’s Worse: not remembering names or not remembering where you parked? We take a lot of calls and texts about which kind of forgetfulness is the worst. Todd then moves on to discuss UW-Madison’s new women’s basketball coach, Robin Pingeton. Unfortunately, her record is one of mediocrity at best. Why is the university spending money to hire a new coach with a losing record? This move indicates an apparent lack of dedication to the women’s basketball program. Alternatively, Pingeton may be the strongest candidate willing to take this position on our struggling team. Every Vote Will Matter On April First (Hour 1)

3/26/2025
It’s Wednesday, and Trygve Olson of The Lincoln Project is here to break down a flurry of Wisconsin news. Firstly, UW-Eau Claire Chancellor Jim Schmidt is leaving his position to become the president of James Madison University in Virginia. This is a huge loss for education in our state, and yet another casualty of Jay Rothman’s continued gutting of UW-System. Next up, Todd and Trygve discuss developments in Pete Hegseth’s Signal chat fiasco. Sharing classified military plans on a non-government app and lying about it is unacceptable. The people involved need to step down or be impeached. At the bottom of the hour, we return to Wisconsin. Trygve shares some new poll numbers and what they mean for our state supreme court race. The two candidates are neck and neck, but higher turnout is statistically more likely to bring victory for Judge Susan Crawford over former Attorney General Brad Schimel. Incompetence Or Willful Betrayal? The Answer Is Yes. (Hour 2)

3/25/2025
After giving out our word for the hour in Civic Media’s Break Into Spring Text To Win Contest, Todd takes your calls on Pete Hegseth’s potential jeopardization of America’s military operations. Using a private company to communicate top secret military plans and accidentally including a journalist in the group chat is unacceptable. However, is this breach in security due to incompetence or intentional betrayal? The answer is likely somewhere in between. This afternoon, Todd asks us What’s Worse: tip jars or GoFundMe? Secretary Pete Hegseth Is Putting All Of Us In Danger (Hour 1)

3/25/2025
Pat Kreitlow of UpNorthNews Radio is officially sick of Trygve Olson’s age jokes. Henceforth, he shall join us on Tuesdays. (In reality, he now has a meeting that conflicts with our Wednesday show, but Trygve doesn’t need to know that.) This morning, Dan Bice published a new article in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Elon Musk is paying people $25/hr to knock on doors for Brad Schimel, but it seems that he’s not actually making sure they know anything about the candidate or the race. Todd and Pat wrap up their time together with a recap of the latest excitement in college hockey and basketball tournaments. At the bottom of the hour, Todd talks us through the latest goof from Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth. Hegseth accidentally added a journalist to a Signal group chat about imminent war plans. No, this is not a joke. The military actions discussed in the chat were carried out shortly thereafter. Disconcerting Echoes Of American History (Hour 2)

3/24/2025
Today is the first day of Civic Media’s Break Into Spring Text To Win Contest! Tune in to our network every day for the next two weeks for your chance to win hourly prizes of $100 cash, a visit to Chula Vista Resort, or a pair of club-level Brewers tickets. Each text also enters you to win our grand prize– a brand new Verlo Mattress set! Listen at 7 am, 11 am, 1 pm, and 4 pm for the next two weeks for the keywords to text in. Visit civicmedia.us for more details. This afternoon, Todd asks us What’s Worse: a sore back or a sore ass? (Also, is it a SORE ass as in a grumpy person or a sore ASS as in posterior?) We take your calls and texts on which pain aches more. At the bottom of the hour, Todd brings us a story that sounds eerily familiar to today’s political division. In 1950, America was deep in the throes of the Red Scare. Republican Senator Margaret Chase Smith was one of the first to speak out against the horrors of McCarthyism, and her words ring just as true today. At the very end of the show, Todd brings us a very disturbing and underreported story. Former US Attorney Jessica Aber was found dead. She was known for her work fighting Russian cybercrime and resigned from her position when Donald Trump was inaugurated as President this January. While it is certainly possible that her death is a coincidence, there is a pattern of deaths among Russian journalists and officials who make their dislike of Putin known. The possibility of foul play from the Kremlin here in America is deeply chilling. Coach Mark Johnson Heralds In More Miracles On Ice (Hour 1)

3/24/2025
Over the weekend, Coach Mark Johnson led the Badgers Women’s Hockey team to their eighth Frozen Four National Championship victory under his leadership, cementing UW Madison as the most decorated hockey program in the country. We take a listen to the words of Coach Johnson, star player Kirsten Simms, and a few excellent calls from the winning plays. In men’s basketball, the Badgers were eliminated from the NCAA tournament in round two, they put up a great fight. Todd spends most of this hour digging into what brings out the best in our state’s college athletes. We end this hour by addressing some of the serious political news of the day. Vice President JD Vance made an appearance on Fox News in which he derided Denmark, a NATO ally, for not surrendering Greenland to the US. This is absolutely bananas. The leaders of the free world should not be threatening military action against our allies, nor should they demand territory. Do Not Allow Elon Musk To Buy Your Information (Hour 2)

3/21/2025
This afternoon, Todd asks us What’s Worse: extended warranties or extended family? We take your calls and texts on which one is more annoying. In breaking political news, Elon Musk’s interference in Wisconsin’s state supreme court election is reaching a new high. He offers $100 to each voter who signs a petition against “activist judges,” effectively attempting to buy votes. Regardless of who you plan to vote for, we advise not signing the petition and taking Musk’s money. If you do, he will have access to your signature and a lot of your private information.
