STRESS MANAGEMENT FOR WOMEN
Jessica Finn
Why is stress management needed for women?
We believe that more and more women are struggling with stress and are finding it difficult to cope with everyday life. That’s why we’ve created this book. We believe it will provide you with insights and tools to make the changes you want in your life; not just in relation to stress but in many other areas as well. We hope this book will provide you with the tools to develop on a deeper level.
Statistics show that many women are on sick-leave due to stress. In this book, we have chosen to highlight the differences between the genders as men and women experience and respond to stress quite differently. We also share proven exercises that we as stress therapists use in our daily work with clients.
You will learn how to:
- change your thoughts patterns
- get better connected with your feelings and your needs
- change unwanted behaviours
- improve your quality of life both at work and in your relationships
We cannot avoid the challenges life throws a us, but we can choose how we handle them. Understanding yourself and creating a better relationship with yourself are vital steps on the way to helping ensure health and well-being.
Jessica Finn and Michael Sandberg work as stress therapists and lecturers internationally. They are both passionate about helping others to help themselves.
