Brock Bowers On Kirby Smart & Georgia Dynasty, Raiders Rookie Year & NFL Pressure | Bussin'
7/15/2025
Recorded: June 25th 2025 | Taylor Lewan and Will Compton are back with another episode of Bussin’ With The Boys. This week, we welcome one of college football’s most dominant tight ends of all time, and now member of the Las Vegas Raiders, Brock Bowers to the bus.
In the intro Will and Taylor react to UFC Nashville. Jack McPherson, JP Hovey, and Garrett Hargis break down Derrick Lewis’s mooning of the crowd and getting to hang out with Luke Combs at Bridgestone Arena. Taylor Lewan defends himself for being in Canada on July 4th and Will Compton complains about his lack of sleep due to playing PubG with the boys in the back of the bus. Will then closes the intro by reflecting on his time playing at Nebraska with Ndamukong Suh, since Suh retired from the NFL this week.
Then, Brock dives into his time playing college football at the University of Georgia, winning national championships, playing for Kirby Smart, and what it was like being Stetson Bennett’s favorite target every Saturday in the SEC. We get into his mindset on training, blocking vs. receiving, and how he approached every game like it was his last.
The conversation gets real as Brock opens up about dealing with injuries, and his NFL combine experience, the pressure of being a top NFL prospect, and his goals now that he’s officially in the league on Geno Smith’s squad under head coach Pete Carroll. We even touch on NIL, life off the field, and what it means to stay humble while being a certified DAWG.
You already know there are plenty of laughs, locker room talk, and elite football stories. Brock is as real as it gets. Spoiler alert, he’d do ANYTHING for just a steak dinner.. that’s it.. just a steak. And as always, the biggest of hugs and the tiniest little bitty kisses.

For The Dads is for every guy who needs a place to talk, vent, and laugh about all the insane, hilarious, and chaotic sh** (sometimes literal) that comes with being a dad.
Hosted by Will Compton–NFL Vet, creator of Bussin' With the Boys, and proud dad of two. This show isn’t about expert advice and how fatherhood is the greatest thing on earth—it’s about embracing the love and suck of parenthood every day. From balancing work and family to battling the mental load, fears, and the moments that wreck you in the best way, we dive into it all with honesty, vulnerability, and a sense of humor. Cause at the end of the day... us dads have no idea what we're doing.
Alongside Will is his producer Sherman Young, a soon-to-be dad who’s currently enjoying his last few months of uninterrupted sleep and freedom. Together, they’ll break down everything that can go right and wrong (...usually wrong) when you bring tiny humans into this world.
Expect funny parenting stories, laughs, call-ins, advice, weekly themes, and the kind of conversations you’d have over a cold beer in the garage. Whether you’re raising teens or still Googling “how to install a car seat”, For the Dads is the ultimate podcast for dads who are in it, about to be in it, or just trying to do their best while screwing it up along the way.

Brock Purdy On 49ers ROUGH '24 Season, Going From NFL Draft's Mr. Irrelevant To Niners QB | Bussin'
7/8/2025
Recorded: June 26th 2025 |
In this episode of Bussin’ With The Boys, the guys kick things off with a classic high-energy intro before diving into a full recap of their 4th of July weekend, packed with laughs and stories. The conversation then takes a wild turn with talk about the UFC potentially heading to the White House, followed by early thoughts and hype around the newly announced EA Sports College Football 26 video game. Josh Pate makes it clear he’s fully on board the Nebraska train, while the boys dub Notre Dame “Legacy U” and stir up a spirited debate between Cam Newton and Jalen Hurts.
Then, the main event begins as 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy joins the pod. He shares his journey from being recruited to Iowa State to his unforgettable NFL Draft experience. The boys officially declare October as “Brocktober” while Brock reflects on his rookie year in San Francisco, including his legendary bond with Trent Williams—who he hilariously refers to as his “binkie.” He opens up about taking over the Niners starting job from Trey Lance, undergoing Tommy John surgery, and the emotional rollercoaster of the NFC Championship game.
Brock also discusses what it was like to lose Deebo Samuel mid-season, reacts to an “anonymous” quote from Taylor saying he's not the guy, and gives a behind-the-scenes look at Super Bowl week. The conversation closes with a look back at the struggles of last season and what he expects from this upcoming year with the Niners roster full of Christian McCaffrey, George Kittle, Brandon Aiyuk, and Nick Bosa under head coach Kyle Shanahan.
As always, the biggest of hugs and the most tiny kisses. Enjoy!

Best of the Bus: Josh Allen Talks Stefon Diggs Drama, Madden Cover, and More
7/5/2025
Recorded: June 21, 2023
On this week’s Best of the Bus, we’re throwing it back to when the boy, Josh Allen, joined the bus.
The guys immediately dive into Josh being the latest Madden cover athlete and what that whole process was like. Will asks for his thoughts on the Madden curse and whether he thinks it’ll affect him.
Then, the boys get into the Bills’ season and the wild ride it was. Josh recaps the night of the Damar Hamlin incident, sharing what that moment was like from a teammate’s perspective—how scary it was, and how the players ultimately decided they weren’t going to finish the game.
Taylor brings up some classic matchups between the Titans and Bills, including the 2020 COVID game where the Titans didn’t practice all week but still managed to beat the Bills.
The guys jump all over the place—from Will asking Josh if white defensive players belong in the league, to swapping old stories about getting sick from alcohol.
Josh is really just one of the boys—super laid-back, funny, and open. If you haven’t heard this one yet, you’ll definitely enjoy it. And if you have, enjoy it again!

Will Compton Gives Parenting Advice For Your First Child, Delivery Room Do's & Don'ts | For The Dads
7/2/2025
Former NFL Linebacker Will Compton presents a Bussin’ With The Boys production, For The Dads! As a father of two, Will knows how hard the job of a dad can be. Thus he created a safe space for dads to come together and talk about the insane stuff that we see and deal with every day.
He is joined by Sherman Young, whose first born is just days away, so Will share the highs and lows of having your first child. Sherm, understandably nervous and anxious to start his journey into fatherhood, confides in Will his excitement and trepidations for the arrival of his daughter, Scarlett.
Will starts out by throwing around names for the For The Dads community. Then Sherm talks to Will about his worries regarding getting enough sleep once Scarlett is born. Plus, Will talks Sherm through delivery room do's and don’ts and Sherm gets emotional talking about the pending arrival of his daughter. The boys take a call from a disappointed Husker Girl Dad, and Will devises a plan to help his daughter understand jerseys aren’t just for boys. For the message of the week, Will delivers a "letter to Sherm" welcoming him into “The Fatherhood.”
We hope you enjoy! Let us know in the comments what you'd like to see more of.

Travis Kelce Talks NFL Retirement, Chiefs Super Bowl Loss + Bussin’ With The Boys Meets Taylor Swift
7/1/2025
Recorded: June 30, 2025
In this episode of Bussin’ With The Boys, Will Compton and Taylor Lewan dive into an epic conversation with three-time Super Bowl champion, legendary Chiefs tight end, and co-host of the New Heights podcast, Travis Kelce. Will kicks off the intro by recapping Tight End University and Taylor Swift’s epic surprise concert. Taylor Lewan wins big in Vegas, plus there’s a UFC 317 recap.
Then the interview kicks off with Travis sharing hilarious stories about getting into acting alongside Adam Sandler, and they chat about how New Heights is absolutely crushing it and landing unreal guests. The conversation turns serious with thoughts on becoming a better leader and confronting the mortality of being an NFL player. The guys joke about Jason Kelce being the favorite kid in the Kelce household and open up about how uncomfortable being in front of the camera can feel at first.
They debate whether the Chiefs got lucky last year and consider what life might look like after football. A wild story about a “Welcome to the NFL” moment with Clay Matthews comes up, and Travis drops the bombshell that Catching Kelce was the worst thing he’s ever done. They get candid about the viral relationship with Taylor Swift and discuss how TEU has grown so big it’s become a must-attend event for tight ends everywhere.
Things get light-hearted as they answer what they’d do anything for when it comes to Bud Light, and of course, they wrap up with a classic Shoutout No Free Shoutout. George Kittle On Future Of 49ers, $76 MILLION Contract + Christian McCaffrey's Dominance | Bussin’
6/24/2025
Recorded: June 17, 2025
Will Compton and Taylor Lewan have San Francisco 49ers star and The King of Tight End University George Kittle on this episode of Bussin’ With The Boys! The guys kick things off with a lively intro this week, with Will Compton stirring the pot and creating drama between Bussin' Producer Jack and Taylor Lewan. Taylor then defends his claim of being an elite athlete (which AI has confirmed is accurate), ending with a healthy debate over normalizing bad first pitches.
The Boys jump into George Kittle's interview full steam. George talks candidly about his NFL career earnings, how he takes care of his body midseason, and responds to Taylor’s wild claims about Brock Purdy from two years ago. He also discusses his desire to continue playing at a high level, his love for video games, and all things Niners, including how Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey are ready for a comeback season.
The guys laugh about George’s new touchdown celebration ideas, debate whether Kyle Juszczyk is Hall of Fame-worthy, and dish on Deebo Samuel possibly being overweight. They even touch on a surreal moment of hanging with Justin Trudeau while his countrymen chirped him at the 4 Nations Hockey Tournament. Things wind down with more Tight End U talk, the future of the event, and George’s excitement to hang with the boys this week.

Diego Pavia Predicts Vanderbilt To Repeat Against Alabama & Make College Football Playoff | Bussin'
6/17/2025
Recorded: June 16th, 2025
Will Compton and Taylor Lewan bring the juice on this week's Bussin’ With The Boys. The guys are back with a packed episode and a killer sit-down with Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia. Before Diego hops on, the boys chop it up about the newly-dropped Dad Combine vlog courtesy of Bussin' Legend, JP Hovey, how Father’s Day weekend went, and their reactions to what’s been going down in the NHL Stanley Cup Finals. There’s also some solid back-and-forth about Nebraska football coach Matt Rhule going viral this past weekend, Josh Pate throwing strays at the back of the bus, and a preview of Tight End U coming up. They even touch on Paul Craig's wild kick, some Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese chatter, and give a nod to birthday boy Mitch before we hop into the interview.
Once Diego joins, it’s all uphill in the best way. The guy’s got a story — from being a legit wrestler back in the day to calling his own plays in-game and leading New Mexico State to a historic win over Auburn. He talks about being overlooked coming out of high school, how he made the most of his time at NMSU, and what it’s been like transitioning to college football in the SEC at Vanderbilt. Diego then tells the behind the scenes story of the Alabama game and what it was like to upset the #1 team in the nation. The convo dives into whether he thought about entering the transfer portal again, expectations for this season, and how much Jerry Kill meant to his journey. It’s the kind of interview that makes you root for the dude, plain and simple.

6/3/2025
Recorded: June 2nd, 2025
Will Compton & Taylor Lewan are back with NFL vet, Super Bowl champ, and Notre Dame legend Golden Tate. From high school star in Tennessee to Biletnikoff winner to a 10+ year NFL career with the Seahawks, Lions, Eagles, Giants, and Titans, Golden Tate hops on the bus and takes us through a ton of the behind the scenes drama he encountered in the league.
The Bussin' Bowl is BACK! Will and Taylor give their takes on the impending Nebraska vs. Michigan game and set their official odds of who they think will win. Summer interns are also in the house!
After the intro Will and Taylor dive into the Golden Tate interview. Tate opens up about his path to the league, nearly choosing baseball over football, and what it was like playing with legends like Russell Wilson, Matthew Stafford, and Eli Manning. Things get spicy as he breaks down his infamous beefs with Jalen Ramsey and Percy Harvin—including that locker room fight before the Super Bowl.
Golden also shares his thoughts on the current state of the Seahawks with Sam Darnold and Jalen Milroe, playing for four different teams, and what it was like being a part of that dominant Legion of Boom era with teammates like Richard Sherman, Kam Chancellor, and Earl Thomas. The boys dive into old Notre Dame stories, and even his return to baseball years after retiring from the NFL.

JC Latham on Titans Rookie Year, Cam Ward Hype, Will Levis, Alabama Memories & DeBoer Era | Bussin'
5/27/2025
Recorded: May 23rd, 2025
Will Compton and Taylor Lewan hope everyone had a Happy Memorial Day Weekend. To help end it on a high note, they invited Tennessee Titans left guard JC Latham on the bus! Will and Taylor kick things off by addressing Theo Von's kind words about Bussin' with Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson. They also react to Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce's smack talking for the Nebraska vs Cincinnati game, which leads The Boys to break down the new College Football Playoff format, the return of the infamous “Tush Push,” and a sneak peek at the upcoming Dad Combine. Plus, they introduce their new interns, preview this year’s Father’s Day merch drop, and react to New Heights throwing some shade.
Then Will and Taylor dive into a monster sit-down with Titans first-round pick JC Latham. From his early days at IMG and choosing Alabama, to raw stories from Kalen DeBoer’s Bama locker room, JC opens up about being part of the first year of NIL, adapting to the NFL, and what it’s really like working with legendary offensive line coach Bill Callahan. He talks about playing against Will Anderson Jr., the transition from left tackle to right tackle, and even responds to rumors about his 40-yard dash time. The guys also hit on Titans’ struggles, Will Levis’ development, expectations for Cam Ward, and how the NFL culture compares to college football.
As always, things get weird in the best way—bio hacking, fan questions, and a Bud Light “What Would You Do Anything For?” moment all make an appearance. It's an all-time episode for football junkies and dads alike.
Big Hugs, and Tiny Kisses y'all!
