Cheesehead Radio #360: Cheese Crumbled: The Mourning After

1/16/2025
Perhaps to no one's surprise, the 2024 Green Bay Packers' season ended with a dull thud as the Philadelphia Eagles joined the Lions and Vikings as elite NFC teams who've beaten the Pack twice this season. While we find a lot of positives in the season, there was a lot of debate and quibble about, as well as some concerning injuries for 2025. We take an early look at position-by-position this offseason and our UFAs, and predict the areas Brian Gutekunst will prioritize in free agency and the draft. Why the Packers Season Came to a Crashing End in Philly | Packers Weekly #77

1/14/2025
No excuses about penalties and injuries. The Packers season ended the way it did for a very specific reason - a failure of leadership. We can get into team-building talk, but no free agent receiver or draft picks matter if the leadership on this team can't hold up its end of the deal. Let's talk about it, Packers fans! Go Pack Go! Packers Therapy #477: Numb and Dumber

1/8/2025
Chris and Dave conclude that the Packers played as dumb as Jordan's Love's hand was numb. The guys lament the Packers' narrow 24-22 defeat to the Bears, their first loss to Chicago since 2018. They scrutinize the coaching decisions, particularly questioning Coach LaFleur's "dumb" use of timeouts, which contributed to the loss. The boys also touch on Love's performance, with his "numb" hand perhaps being a metaphor for his recent play. Additionally, the episode critiques the team's defensive strategy, especially the poor decision to rush three on the critical late play that put the Bears in position to win as time expired. With the playoffs looming and a match-up against the Eagles next, the fellas are salty, expressing concern over the Packers fate in Philly this Sunday. Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/packerstherapy PayPal: Packerstherapy@yahoo.com Posting its first show in 2005, Packers Therapy is the longest-running Packers podcast on the Internet. Hosts Chris and Dave began the show as a way of capturing the spirited chats the two co-workers had about the team around the office. The two have no pretense about being experts: they are just two opinionated shareholders who love the team, follow it closely, but don’t always see the Packers fortunes eye to eye. The guys encourage comments and questions via their Twitter feed @PackersTherapy or email to packerstherapy@yahoo.com and read and respond to as many as they can during each show. Packers Fans Divided Over Playoff Potential | Packers Weekly #76

1/7/2025

If you're an optimistic Packers fan, it's getting increasingly harder to find reasons for optimism going into the playoffs against Philly. Where do you fall? LempsTalkinPack #199 | Limping Into The Tournament

1/6/2025
Chris Lempesis is back to break down Green Bay's embarrassing 24-22 loss to the Chicago Bears on Sunday at Lambeau Field in the regular season finale, a defeat that leaves the Packers with zero momentum heading into the playoffs, a far cry from where they were at this time last season. He breaks down yet another poor performance from head coach Matt LaFleur, but also tells you why LaFleur isn't the only coach to blame for what happened Sunday. Lastly, he takes a small sampling of questions and comments received via social media and email ahead of this week's "Emptying The Bag" show. 1/3/2025

Champions or Choke Artists??? | Packers Weekly #75

12/31/2024
What is this Packers team? Some games this season have them looking like one of the most dangerous teams in the league, and other weeks they make you question whether they're even a playoff team. It's never going to be easy to lose to the Vikings, but this time around context matters, and the only division matchup that really matters at this point, is the one that happens in the postseason. Packers Therapy #476 | Vikings Blow Horn; Packers Just Blow

12/31/2024
Chris and Dave break down the Packers’ narrow 27-25 loss to the Vikings in Minneapolis. From Matt LaFleur’s questionable offensive game plan to Jordan Love’s struggles under relentless pressure, the boys tackle the critical errors that played into a game that didn't feel as close as the final score suggested. The guys wonder: Why call slow-developing plays against a team notorious for its aggressive pass rush? The fellas vent about dumb decisions, missed opportunities, and the team’s seeming inability to adjust against quality opponents. With the Packers likely heading for the seventh seed, Chris and Dave explore whether this team can find its footing or if postseason hopes are a pipe-dream.
