Boomer Esiason spent two radio segments roasting Dave Sims for taking a weekend off to spend some time in Seattle. We're having trouble undersanding the outrage. Then, M's first base coach Eric Young Jr joins the show and we hear from all of you in Answer the Question Jerk.

Brock and Salk talk through what their current worry level is with the Mariners, having lost four in a row. Afterwards, Jeff Passan of ESPN joins the show for his weekly segment to share his thoughts on the Mariners recent stretch of games, the rotation and a lot more.

Brock and Salk analyze the two different Dan Wilson's: the leader/clubhouse builder and the in-game manager. They also react to Sam Darnold's interview with USA Today and his glowing reviews so far of the Seahawks as an organization. In Blue 88, Brock takes a look at why the reviews around the league of the Seahawks is such a positive, why Daniel Jeremiah was in Brock's head during his coaches meeting the other day and if it's time to reevalute UW among the blue bloods of college football.

The Mariners drop game one of the new series to the Yankees and Salk reads a handful of texts from show listeners who had thoughts on the game. They then re-air their conversation with Mariners broadcaster Aaron Goldsmith about the Mariners weekend against the Blue Jays, Bryce Miller and more. Salk also can't understand the decision that the Mariners made to bunt in the second inning and can't understand it.

Steve Smith had Greg Olsen on his podcast and they discussed the Seahawks parting ways with DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett and how fit ans scheme played into it. Brock and Salk give their thoughs on the debate of whether it's better to find players that fit your scheme or build your scheme around what you have. Then, we discuss Derek Carr retiring, George Pickens being traded, and the Browns crowded QB room in Around the NFL.

The Seahawks sent a notice to their season ticket holders about reselling their tickets and the repercussions that could come with it, so Brock and Salk discuss whether they agree with this or not. Then, they go through some interesting nuggets from Luke Arkins on both the seasons of Julio Rodriguez and Luis Castillo so far.

Brock and Salk evaluate Bryce Miller after another rocky start on Sunday and wonder what to make of his season so far, especially with him continuing to battle through some minor pain physically, and what to do with him in the short term moving forward. After that, Mariners broadcaster Aaron Goldsmith joins the show to discuss the Mariners series against the Blue Jays, the rotation and more. In Blue 88, topics include what Brock wishes he could have seen after the draft, Bill Belichick's book and an encouraging sign when it comes to the list that the Seahawks are on.

The Mariners were swept by the Blue Jays this weekend and Salk discusses if he think this series was a one off or more of the air starting to come out of the balloon on the team's hot start to the year. Then, they go Around The Weekend with storylines from the Mariners and the NHL Playoffs.

Brock and Salk wonder if they should be talking more about Sam Darnold with all of the focus that's recently been on Jalen Milroe and if there will be a Seahawks QB controversy this year. They then react to sound from Mark DeRosa on MLB Network and some funny comparisons he uses for the Mariners. Stacy Rost then also stops by.

Brock and Salk ahve plenty of laughs to open the hour as Salk shares quite the story about his golf outing on Thursday. The two also discuss what they think has happened with the Mariners pitching so far and why it hasn't yet been as dominant as usual. In Blue 88, topics include who Brock has to apologize to, why he disagrees with Mark Schlereth and something he missed on when considering if Sam Darnold can be the Seahawks next franchise QB.

Salk reads a conversation on Twitter that involved Buster Olney discussing payroll in baseball, and it sparks him to share his thoughts on where the state of baseball could be heading. Then, they re-air their conversation with Jordan Palmer, who has worked as a QB coach with both Sam darnold and Jalen Milroe, and he discusses both of them and their upside.

We discuss some of the mixed reviews we've heard about Jalen Milroe's potential. Then, we discuss Salk's shift in viewpoint on strikeouts and how the evolution of the game has impacted it. Plus, we call Lyle's Marine Layer partner, TJ Mathewson to discuss whether he feels Lyle sold him out when the threw out the first pitch at the Aqua Sox game or not.

The hour starts by listening to fan voicemails for Here's The Thing. Then, the group learns that Lyle also threw out the first pitch at an Aquasox game on Wednesday,a nd they all debate if he ruined Salk's moment from a few weeks ago.

Brock and Salk wonder how similar the feeling of this 2025 Mariners team is to the 2001 Mariners. Salk also has a new pledge when it comes to baseball regarding teams making contact at the plate along with offensive strikeouts. Colin Cowherd of FOX Sports joins the show to begin the hour to talk through why he really liked the Seahawks draft and the potential of this new QB room. Later, Daniel Jeremiah of the NFL Network hops on to share more about the Seahawks draft, what this draft class could look like in a few years, how he feels the rest of the NFC West did in the draft and more.

Brock and Salk go through some of the standouts in another chaotic Mariners win, including how good J.P. Crawford has been. They also who debate who the most popular Seattle athlete currently is.
