Sarah is sent to retake her ‘A’ levels at a strict girls’ boarding school in the 1950s. As has become the tradition, four girls get a practical demonstration of the corporal punishment, the implements, positions and states of undress to be applied if they fall foul of the very strict behaviour codes required. The young, attractive Matron also finds she has to submit to the headmaster's discipline and much more. It Started with a Kiss tells the story of Lady Heather, who is an aristocrat in the upper 6th form at a top girls' boarding school. She is dying for a cigarette and persuades a young groundsman to give her a smoke in return for a kiss. They get carried away but are caught in flagrante. This will inevitably mean the cane from the Highmistress. If it couldn't get any worse, the Highmistress is off sick as is her deputy, and it's left to the male Head of Science to carry out this onerous duty. One which he exploits to the full.
