Welcome to CeltCast, a Celtic, Folk, Pagan and Viking radio station run by volunteers and 100% ad-free. Here ancient sounds resonate in the music we play today. In early times, music and poetry were very important to the Celts and their neighbours as a way to learn and remember the stories of their people and to strengthen their community. Times have changed, but music still plays a vital role. With the help of the bands and artists that we play, of the festivals we visit and of our listeners, we aim to make the Celtic, Viking and Folk scene as vibrant and as solid as it used to be, and as we believe it ought to be. Our goal is to support the artists, festival and concert organisers and to share their music as far and wide as we can.
