Stephanie Glance is CEO of the Kay Yow Cancer Fund; they've teamed up again with Bojanges for a fundraiser. She'll also talk about the 'Play4Kay' initiative and the upcoming Play4Kay game between NC State and Duke. Also today, we'll hear about a new play area at Marbles Kids Museum; Lowes Foods has sponsored a "refreshing" of the 'Hometown Grocery' area.

On this week's Around the Triangle, we'll learn about personal money management strategies to start 2020 off on the right note. We'll also talk about local cancer research and a fundraising opportunity this spring with the V Foundation. The 'Victory Ride' is just a few months away; organizers will share what we need to know to get ready. We'll also speak with V Foundation CEO Susan Braun.

Troy Manns and Tisha Roberson (Recovery Centers of North Carolina and the Alcohol Drug Council of North Carolina, respectively) will share their own personal stories of overcoming addiction and how they now use that experience to help change the lives of others.

On this week's Around the Triangle, we'll check-in with Raleigh's 'A Place at the Table' restaurant. Director Maggie Kane was honored last week by Good Morning America for her work with the cafe. She'll join us in-studio to talk about business, community and their plans for 2020.
