If you want, you are allowed to whine about being too tired, or overeating. Maybe you want to whine about having to go back to work or all the cleaning up you have to do. Are the lines long in the return aisle at the store? You can whine about that, too. The possibilities are endless. Rev. Also known as egg milk punch, eggnog is a popular drink throughout the United States during the holidays. basically made by mixing cream, milk, sugar, and whipped eggs to create a frothy texture...The origins of this sweet Christmas drink are highly debated. According to the Oxford English Dictionary, the word ‘nog’ was used to describe a type of strong beer brewed in England. Others argue that eggnog was developed as a beverage in medieval Europe, using piping hot milk....or it could possibly also have been a spin-off of the once-popular drink enjoyed by the British called posset. Made using curdled milk mixed with wine, it was often used for medicinal purposes. In America...liquor is often added to the eggnog. Many people prefer brandy, rum, whiskey, bourbon, or vodka....but it's totally customizable. Eggnog also flavors other holiday treats, too. For example, you can find eggnog flavored coffees, teas, baked goods, and puddings.

The holiday was created by his father Frank and they celebrated it throughout George’s childhood. Instead of a tree or menorah, an aluminum pole was the symbol of Festivus. They’d have a dinner of meatloaf as the main course and afterward, they had “Feats of Strength” and “Airing of Grievances” traditions. In the latter, people could bring up what disappointed them about the previous year’s gifts. Because of the show’s popularity and the catchphrase “A Festivus for the rest of us,” Festivus took on a life of its own. People related to the message of inclusion and the zaniness of it all and created their own traditions from it.

In the spring, the starch is then converted to sugar that rises in the sap. The maple trees are then tapped by boring holes into their trunks and the released sap is collected. Up until the 1930s, the United States led in maple syrup production. Now, Canada produces the most maple syrup....but Vermont remains the largest producer of maple syrup in the United States.
