Today we introduced a new game called Can't Beat Aimee... and if you can't, you should be ashamed. Shawn somehow convinced his soon to be 7 year old son not to have a birthday party, and he's thrilled. Aimee is NOT OK with the term "work wife". Let her explain...

Shawn got a random message from his ex's beau's ex. The conversation was totally cool, but it was out of the clear blue sky. How long does it take you to get over a relationship? Aimee's husband deletes his texts all the time and she thinks it is incredibly sus. Shawn thinks it could be innocent... until he learns the extra effort he goes through.

Happy Monday. Sorta. Kinda. We had ourselves a weekend. Shawn's stress on Friday caused his back to cease up like it never had. Stress-related muscle tension. So... everyone at the Albertson's got together to make him feel better about the world. Aimee's son Romie doesn't want his sister to marry her boyfriend because he doesn't want to lose her as a sister.

Both Aimee and Shawn have something going on sinus wise. Sniffling. Sneezing. Is it the new building? We knew we should have saged this place. Aimee's friend saved someone's life in the middle of a restaurant and got a round of applause. Shawn has aspirations of being fit. But while is brain dreams of that, he sleeps on the couch and lacks the ability to move. What to do, what to do...

The Taylor Swift episode of "New Heights" dropped and Aimee (and everyone else) listened and watched yesterday. We talk about the aftermath. Shawn forgot to pack something on his trip last week, leading to him doing the most effeminate, yet most confident thing he's ever done. Plus Aimee has been trying to sell a Sonos speaker on OfferUp for a while... and his trade request has her mouth on the ground.

HOLY COW THAT WAS A LONG WAIT. Sorry we didn't have a podcast for a while there. If you didn't hear, we moved studios. And yeah. Wow. Aimee's youngest seems to take everything SUPER literally. Turns out, most kids at that age are the same way. Plus we talk to the winner of our Coolest Summer Ever contest who got a new whole home AC unit thanks to Bob's Repair HVAC and Solar Experts!

Well, after 740 shows, this is our last one in the original 102.7 VGS studios. Everything was supposed to work until 10am... but the phone lines had other plans. Aimee was at her nephew's birthday at (REDACTED) when she witnessed the biggest injustice. Only 1 hour, not enough time to open presents, a melted cake and... a ridiculously high price tag to go with it. Shawn's son copped to holding onto a disgusting and hilarious secret. You can't help but laugh.

Shawn reached a major milestone on the way to work today and he wants to shout it from the rooftops! Aimee got sucked into doing a trending TikTok dish and her family loves it. Only one problem: now everyone else is doing it and the ingredients are sold out. Why is it that women can go to a concert and cat call the male performer, but not the other way around. Shawn watched a Yacht Rock documentary with his fiancé and by the time it ended he was convinced he needs to beware of Michael McDonald.

Thankfully the studio didn't up and die on us today! We'll mark that as a win. Why are pillows such a pain in the ass to perfect? Aimee knows IMMEDIATELY if she has the wrong one. Shawn was woken up at 7 in the morning over the weekend by someone installing hardwood floors. What do you do about noisy neighbors? Aimee's 6 year old son watches Squid Games... and now she is wondering if that is a wise decision.

It was a... challenging show. Sure, Shawn was back but the station went OFF THE AIR. All before we move to our new studio soon. HALP! While Shawn was in Boston he witnessed an absolute bonehead of a father that nearly got his baby killed. Aimee's son Jayden might be a beast on the football field, but he hates manual labor.

Shawn shares a story of something so grotesque that his fiancé Sammi will never look through her sunglasses the same way again. Aimee finally met her step-daughter's boyfriend... and so did the rest of the fam! Did Patrick shun him? Plus... salmon sperm facials for everyone!

Aimee is in major need of coffee. We're going to need more than coffee if we plan on moving to our new studio in a month. Shawn is trying to find a way to break through with his youngest son who has taken a bit of a turn against dad lately. Do they need therapy, or does Shawn? Aimee's stepdaughter is moving to Las Vegas for the first time and she is excited to meet her boyfriend - and excited to see how her son and husband will react.

Today is 102.7 VGS' third birthday party! THANK YOU for making us part of your day every morning! Aimee is sleep deprived and might try a split sleep schedule. It sounds... exhausting. The studio is quite literally falling apart. Our station is moving to a new studio soon and in the meantime, it is whack-a-mole of technical issues. But our engineer Steve came to the rescue! (As he always does)

Monday is here and while Aimee took it easy this weekend, Shawn put another 1000 miles on his car on a road trip. During the road trip he could only look with horror as a crack spread on his passengers side window. Meanwhile, Aimee didn't notice the change to her grocery store app and is now swimming in bananas.

Aimee is really in the need of a cold shower, but none of her water is cold now that it's summer again. Shawn showed his twig, berries and everything else to a doctor yesterday. Aimee is used to it at this point. Getting your car broken into feels so violating. We talk about a big haul that Aimee's friend gave to an enterprising thief.

Shawn was cooking ribs in the kitchen while Aimee was cooking in a different way. The both of them were obsessed with the Karen Read murder trial that wrapped up yesterday. If you haven't heard about it, it was WILD. We know housekeepers in Las Vegas have probably seen some STUFF. We talk to one person with a story that will make your jaw drop.

Shawn noticed that his car was being tracked by his fiance yesterday. He was half honored, half creeped out, and she was 100% not. So she claims. Aimee gets really annoyed when people who don't have an accent put extra panache on ONE word. You aren't Italian, Doug!

Aimee stayed the night by herself for one of the few times ever in her life and, yet again, didn't get murdered by an intruder. Shawn's son told him about his earliest memory, which has Shawn wondering what his is... and is it HIS memory or recalling what someone told him? Aimee is tired of making an ass out of herself in group fitness environments.

We are back from the far too short Father's Day Weekend! Shawn's fiance showed him a high school friend of hers who lost a pinky in the military, got a fat check and disability and is living his best life. Shawn wants in. Aimee's internet was shut off... but it wasn't because she didn't pay the bill.
