In our final episode, our team discusses how sex is portrayed and used in pop culture and mainstream media. We chat about how the use of sex has changed over the years, and how sex in these formats can impact adolescents and their impressions and expectations of sexual experiences.

Our team sat down with Chanel Contos, the founder of the Teach Us Consent campaign, advocating for better sexual consent education in Australia. Chanel strongly believes that consent education should be taught to students at a much earlier age, taken on a wholistic approach whilst also including concepts such as slut shaming, toxic masculinity, and queer sex education.

Our team sat down with Jason Kenna, a sexual health nurse working at the Melbourne Sexual Health Clinic. Jason tells us everything we need to know about getting a sexual health check and how young people can access these services. Jason is a passionate advocate for removing the stigma attached to sexual health and wants to highlight how the Melbourne Sexual Health Centre wants to help young people with all things sexual health related.

Our team sat down with Dr Siobhan Bourke, a senior lecturer at the centre for excellence in rural sexual health and sexual health physician, who has worked in education for almost 20 years. Dr Bourke specialises in providing training to health professionals and medical students on sexual healthcare and sensitive physical examinations.

Our team sat down with Dr Melissa Kang, a sexual and adolescent health practitioner and advocate, best known for her role as Dolly Doctor. Dr Kang spent 23 years answering questions about sex, puberty and relationships and pioneered the way for opening the conversation about sexual health amongst female adolescents
