THE CASE FOR RESURRECTION: JOHN 3:16, TRUE STORY

4/18/2025
Easter Sunday is a holy day for Christians around the world. Its celebration brings hope to the nations through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. As we approach this holy day, Nancy Grace and her expert panel explores the facts of Jesus' crucifixion, resurrection and historical evidence in its reality. Jesus' arrival in Jerusalem for Passover and what is now called "Palm Sunday" is often called His "Triumphal Entry" as crowds line the streets, spreading their cloaks and waving palm branches. Shouts of "Hosanna" came from the crowd, recognizing Him as King, but Jesus was also seen as a political threat by religious leaders and Roman authority fearing the populace would unite behind Jesus leading to unrest. Jesus was arrested on charges of sedition, in the late evening after the Passover meal. He appeared before the Sanhedrin immediately, accused of blasphemy and claiming to be King of the Jews. He is judged guilty, condemned to die on a cross. Sources other than the bible mention Jesus death by crucifixion and even document events that coincided with Jesus' death on the cross. Historical accounts by Jewish historian Flavius Josephus and Roman Historian, Tacitus, both corroborate the existence of Jesus and His execution under Pontius Pilate. "MACK-DADDY" Diddy' FORCED TO USE $1 CANS OF FISH AS JAIL CURRENCY, DEMANDS TRIAL DELAY

4/17/2025
Just a month before the start of his trial, Sean Diddy Combs is slapped with a third indictment. The new document adds two new counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. The additional charges center on “Victim-2,” who prosecutors say Combs’ recruited, harbored, and transported for the purposes of coerced commercial sex acts between 2021 and 2024. The additional charges could spell more jail time for Combs if convicted. Sean Combs pleads not guilty to the new charges, his legal team contending the allegations are not new. His defense claims the accusers remain the same: former long-term girlfriends who engaged in a consensual sexual relationship with the rapper. Combs insists the escapades that prosecutors refer to as “Freak Offs,” were not coerced commercial acts, but joint decisions between romantic partners to bring other partners into their bed. Combs claims the “freak off” tapes prosecutors plan to submit as evidence will clearly show all parties are active and eager participants. While prosecutors have revealed that ‘Victim 1’, aka Cassie Ventura plans to testify using her name in Sean Combs’ upcoming federal sex trafficking trial, they have asked Judge Arun Subramanian to allow witnesses 2, 3, and 4, to remain anonymous on the stand. Prosecutors are concerned that due to the nature of their testimony, asking the witnesses to use their real names would lead to "significant embarrassment, anxiety and social stigma," as well as harassment by the press. Prosecutors say the witnesses are also worried their testimony will affect their personal relationships and future employment opportunities. What else is going on with Diddy? COPS: 'DUI MOM' CRASHES CAR IN CANAL, FLEES SCENE TO TAKE DRUNKEN BATH LEAVING DAUGHTER, 4, TO DROWN IN CAR

4/16/2025
A California mother is now charged with murder after driving drunk and killing her 4-year-old daughter. Juliette Acosta, 26, crashed her SUV into a canal. The sound of the crash was loud enough to alert nearby residents, including Acosta’s uncle and a neighbor. Her Subaru SUV landed partially submerged in the water. Acosta’s uncle jumped in, helped her out of the vehicle, but could not find 4-year-old Reagan. When officers arrived, Acosta was no longer at the scene. A deputy immediately entered the water to search the vehicle and found Reagan Herrin still buckled in her seat. With help from Acosta’s uncle, the deputy freed the girl and began CPR as an ambulance arrived. Deputies later found Acosta at a nearby home, reportedly taking a bath. She was arrested and initially charged with felony DUI. Her blood alcohol content was nearly three times the legal limit. Acosta now faces charges of murder, drunk driving, and several related offenses. She remains in the county jail on a no-bail warrant. TRACK STAR STABBED DEAD, SUSPECT WALKS FREE, VICTIM’S ATTACKED, HOME “SWATTED”

4/15/2025
Karmelo Anthony's bond hearing allowed him to walk free after the judge lowered his bond from $1,000,000 to $250,000. This occurred after the family hired new counsel, Mike Howard, a Dallas criminal defense attorney. The defense used the hearing to discuss the character of the accused killer, Karmelo Anthony, highlighting his role as captain of both his high school football and track teams. Described as the oldest of three children, Anthony had never been arrested prior to the murder. His father testified that he worked at Foot Locker, as well as a second job at an H-E-B supermarket, before the stabbing. Prosecutors questioned Andrew Anthony, father of the accused, about why Karmelo Anthony's bond should be reduced, given that the family had already raised over $400,000 from a crowdfunding site. Anthony stated that he has no access to the donated funds and cannot afford to pay the million-dollar bond. Anthony's lawyers argued that the money is not intended for bail but should be used for his legal defense. As the defendant walks free, we learn that the family of Austin Metcalf is dealing with threats and swatting incidents. Metcalf's mother's home was targeted with a false report claiming someone had been shot in the mouth. She was not home when police arrived. MISSING Student Sudiksha Konanki Declared Dead, Last Person to See Her Back in The U.S

4/12/2025
Sudiksha Konanki and five college friends arrived in the Dominican Republic on March 3. They booked rooms at the all-inclusive resort Riu Republica in Punta Cana. A few days later, Sudiksha and her friends were dancing at a disco when the resort experienced a 25-hour power outage in some areas. Some reports say that’s when the group of six women and two men decided to take a moonlight walk on the beach. Surveillance footage shows Sudiksha Konanki and five women, along with two men, walking toward the beach. About an hour later, the footage shows five women and one man leaving. Konanki apparently stayed behind with Joshua Riibe, a 24-year-old spring breaker from the U.S. The next morning, Konanki’s friends went on an excursion she had not signed up for, so they did not realize she was missing. When they returned that afternoon, they discovered they had not seen her since the night before. When they tracked down Riibe, he said he had passed out on the beach and, when he woke up, he was alone. Assuming Konanki had already left, he returned to his hotel room. By then, she had been missing for 12 hours. Dominican Republic authorities questioned Riibe for hours over the weekend, including intense questioning by Attorney General Yeni Berenice Reynoso and Navy Vice Admiral Agustin Morillo Rodriguez. Authorities have confiscated Riibe’s passport, and he is not free to leave. Reports say police escort him wherever he goes. Those restrictions are lifted and now Joshua Riibe is home. GORGEOUS YOUNG HIGH SCHOOL GRAD, PAM, "VANISHES" FROM HOUSTON APARTMENT AFTER "ODD" TEXTS

4/11/2025
It’s been eight long years since the Buckner family has seen or heard from Shapammela Latrisha Buckner. She was just 20 years old when she disappeared from the Houston apartment she shared with her boyfriend just after a neighbor and a family member received concerning texts from Shapammela. They believe Shapammela was involved in an altercation just before she disappeared, but police have released few details of the circumstances of her disappearance. After reports of a disturbance the night before, Shapammela’s landlord stops by to check on her. No one answers, and the landlord finds Shapammela’s door unlocked, so she calls Shapammela’s emergency contact. Family finds all of Shapammela’s belongings, including her phone, purse, ID, and keys are still inside. It’s very strange for Shapammela to go anywhere without those items. When several days have passed with no sign or contact from Shapammela, she’s reported missing, last seen at home the evening of March 21. It’s late Tuesday night when a neighbor of Shapamella’s hears what sounds like an altercation next door. Shapammela should have been home alone that night, so she sends Shapammela a text to see if she’s alright. Shapammela responds that she isn’t okay and she needs help. The neighbor asks if she should call police and Shapammela says yes, but authorities do not make contact with Shapammela that night. Shapammela’s aunt also gets a call from Shapammela, claiming she’s being attacked in her own home! Shapammela’s aunt rushes to the apartment to check on her, but someone else answers the door and refuses to let her inside, saying Shapammela isn’t there. Shapammela doesn’t answer any more texts or calls that night. Houston PD and Texas Equusearch scour the area for Shapammela Buckner, believing she may have left her apartment on foot, but the searches turn up no further clues to her whereabouts. Police interview Shapammela’s neighbor and aunt about what happened that night, then speak with several more possible witnesses. Shapammela’s boyfriend is confirmed to have been on base that night, nowhere near their Houston apartment. Disturbing new details have emerged in the torture and murder of 16-year-old Miranda Corsette. Court documents reveal that at least six people knew Steven Gress, 37, and Michelle Brandes, 35, were holding Miranda against her will before she died. Gress allegedly sent photos of Miranda, visibly bruised, to three people, including his mother. She told police she did not view the images but admitted her son tried to talk to her about Miranda. She said she shut down the conversation, telling him she didn’t want to know. At least two neighbors reportedly saw Miranda in distress at the home. A woman who lived with Gress and Brandes witnessed a week of torture, the murder, and the clean-up that followed. The documents also outline a detailed timeline, including a trip to celebrate Brandes’ birthday at a Popeyes restaurant—while Miranda’s dismembered remains allegedly sat in Gress’ trunk.
