Colac Police sergeant Michelle Delaney says instances have affected residents and also businesses. ========================================================================Restoration works will soon begin on two of Colac’s most loved landmarks – the fountains at Memorial Square and the Botanic Gardens. Emergency services were called to Tomahawk Creek Road about 4:10pm after the man came off his bike when a wallaby and its joey jumped in front of him. ====================================================Graze the Day returns to Timboon’s natural amphitheatre on Saturday, November 22, with headline act the Pierce Brothers. The 40-year-old Cobden man and 26-year-old Camperdown man faced multiple firearm and reckless conduct charges from 2024. ============================================================With rainy and foggy weather expected later this week, Colac police has reminded road users to make sure they are as visible as possible. Colac police Sergeant Tim Kerrison says it's incredibly important to help reduce crash occurrences. ============================================================The State Government is investing in worker housing across regional Victoria, with the old Noorat Butter Factory set for a major transformation. The site will be redeveloped into 13 new homes for agriculture workers and their families, helping local farms attract and retain staff. ============================================================Member for Polwarth Richard Riordan has backed a current petition on the legislative councils website to lower the minimum driving age statewide. Colac Otway Shire Council is installing new 80-kilometre-an-hour signs on Conns Lane and nearby Cape Otway Road, replacing the current 100-kilometre limit. ==============================================Crime Stoppers Victoria and Victoria Police are launching the Level Up Against Car Theft campaign to empower the community with practical steps to reduce their risk of car theft and to report suspicious activity to Crime Stoppers.
