The Ogunquit Playhouse opens its 2025 summer season with the hit musical " Come From Away" now through June 14th at the Playhouse on Route 1 in Ogunquit Maine." Come From Away" is a musical based on the events in the Newfoundland town of Gander during the week following the September 11th attacks. It is a fascinating true story with a beautiful musical soundtrack. Jude Warne was born and raised in Manhattan, amidst two parents who were (and still are) rock 'n' rollers, so she believes very strongly in the power and importance of rock 'n' roll and high-quality music and art criticism, Her latest book is about singer Boz Scaggs. According to Jude, Boz Scaggs has always been a musical artist of complexity. The new book is called LOWDOWN: THE MUSIC OF BOZ SCAGGS and is out now. Niall Harbison is a street dog rescuer based in Thailand. Originally from Dublin, Niall moved to Thailand after selling his very successful marketing and PR company. He now lives in the countryside where he spends his days feeding and looking after the thousands of street dogs he comes across. His first book Hope: How Street Dogs Taught Me the Meaning of Life went on to become an international bestseller. His second book is called TINA: The Dog That Changed the World and Niall joined Mike Pomp on the Morning Information Center to chat about the new book.

The First Annual Capt. Jack Casey Memorial 5K Benefit Run and Walk will be held on Sunday May 25th starting at 9am at St. Thomas Aquinas High School on Dover Point Road in Dover, NH. Capt. Casey was tragically killed in a crash in a Marine Corps helicopter back in February of 2024 with four other crewmen while on active duty. This 5K will help fund a secondary education scholarship for local high school seniors as well as cadets at Virginia Military Institute in Lexington Virginia where Capt. Jack Casey attended. Jack's mom Cathy Casey joined Mike Pomp on the Morning Information Center to talk about her son and the benefit 5K.
