After the death of a close friend at seventeen, Tom Turcich resolved to make the most out of life; to travel and be forced into adventure; to experience and understand the world. On April 2nd, 2015, he set out to see it all-one step at a time.
The World Walk is the emotional and exhilarating story of the tenth person and first dog to walk around the world. Together, Turcich and his dog, Savannah, covered twenty-eight thousand miles over the course of seven years. Through deserts, jungles, cities, and mountains, Turcich meditated on what's important in life and took lessons from cultures around the globe. Cathy Casey and the Capt. Jack Casey Memorial 5K 5-13-2025

The First Annual Capt. Jack Casey Memorial 5K Benefit Run and Walk will be held on Sunday May 25th starting at 9am at St. Thomas Aquinas High School on Dover Point Road in Dover, NH. Capt. Casey was tragically killed in a crash in a Marine Corps helicopter back in February of 2024 with four other crewmen while on active duty. This 5K will help fund a secondary education scholarship for local high school seniors as well as cadets at Virginia Military Institute in Lexington Virginia where Capt. Jack Casey attended. Jack's mom Cathy Casey joined Mike Pomp on the Morning Information Center to talk about her son and the benefit 5K.
