The Sixers built up a large lead late in the third quarter and looked to be on their way to an easy victory, but the Hornets came roaring back with a 10-0 run to start the 4th, eventually cutting the Sixers’ once 21-point lead all the way down to 4. The Sixers were able to stabilize down the stretch, thanks in large part to Paul George, who finished with the first 30-point outing of his Philadelphia career.

The team announced that Embiid would not be available due to an "impact to right side of face." The Sixers trailed 61-50 at the half.
Tyrese Maxey, Paul George and the rest of the 76ers tried to keep up with the uptempo Pacers but were unsuccessful as Indiana's Tyrese Haliburton erupted for 32 points -- including seven 3s -- and dished out 11 assists en route to a 121-107 win. KJ Martin was the star tonight for the Philadelphia 76ers, finishing the night with a season-high 20 points on 9 for 10 shooting from the field in the Sixers' 102-94 victory. Martin's activity on the offensive end of the floor gave the Sixers a much-needed lift in a low-scoring game. Paul George returned to the lineup for the 76ers and added team-highs of 21 points and nine assists. Philadelphia's backcourt of Tyrese Maxey (16) and Jared McCain (7) had a quiet night offensively but were lifted by the play of their teammates. Guerschon Yabusele equaled Maxey's scoring output with 16, including two huge free throws to extend the Sixers’ lead to six in the final seconds of the game. Kelly Oubre chipped in 13 and nine rebounds, Andre Drummond contributed seven points and a game-high 11 boards. The Magic's Franz Wagner paced all scorers with 30, Jalen Suggs netted 22 in the loss. JOIN THE PHLY DIEHARDS! https://www.allphly.com/join-diehard/ The Philadelphia 76ers had their two game winning streak snapped tonight after falling to the Orlando Magic at home, 106-102. How can Nick Nurse, Sixers help Jared McCain out of his shooting slump?
12/2/2024
Philadelphia 76ers rookie Jared McCain has been a true bright spot for the struggling Sixers this season, but after a fantastic month of November, his three-point shooting has taken a bit of a dive over the last three games. McCain is 2 for 21 from long distance over that three-game span and had his stretch of ten straight double-digit scoring games snapped on Saturday night in Philadelphia's win over the Detroit Pistons. 76ers head coach also brought McCain off the bench in favor of veteran Kelly Oubre against the Pistons. What can Nurse and the Sixers do to help guide their young guard through his first rough spot?

PHLY Sixers Postgame: Tyrese Maxey's 39 not enough as Sixers fall in OT
11/27/2024
Tyrese Maxey, Guerschon Yabusele, Jared McCain and the Philadelphia 76ers fought hard but it wasn't enough as Jalen Green and the Houston Rockets escaped with a 122-115 overtime win. Philadelphia had many chances to try and steal this one, but after several Houston efforts for 50/50 balls, offensive rebounds, and Sixers turnovers -- there was simply too much to overcome for the home win. Green scored a game-high 41 points, leading the Rockets to their 14th win of the season and handing the 76ers loss number 14 of the campaign. Maxey was amazing, matching Green's scoring effort with 39 (28 in the second half), Yabusele added 22 in a nice overall performance, and McCain chipped in 15. The Sixers have Thanksgiving off before hitting the road for a Saturday matchup against Cade Cunningham and the Detroit Pistons.
