Joel Embiid benched in the fourth as Sixers fall to Nets at the buzzer | PHLY Sixers Postgame

2/22/2025
Too little, too late for the Philadelphia 76ers as they fall to the Brooklyn Nets in a stunner, 105-103. Brooklyn's Nic Claxton hit the game-winner as the buzzer sounded on an offensive rebound put back to give the Nets the win. Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, Paul George and the Sixers trailed by as many as 17 points to the Nets but fought back to take a three-point lead late in the fourth, only to have Brooklyn tie the game and eventually walk away with the victory in the end. Philadelphia has now lost seven straight games.

Joel Embiid & Co. get their DOORS BLOWN OFF in first game back by Celtics | PHLY Sixers Postgame

2/20/2025
In their first game out of the All-Star break, the Philadelphia 76ers were embarrassed on their home floor by the Boston Celtics with a 124-104 loss -- the Sixers' 6th straight defeat. The Celtics were hot from long distance with 24 made 3s to the 76ers' eight. All five of Philadelphia's starters scored in double-figures led by Paul George's 17, but they did not look any different from the team we saw through the first 54 games. Boston's Jayson Tatum notched his 2nd triple-double of the season with 15 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists.
