Holiday travel is in full swing and Triple-A anticipates record-setting volume driven by a significant rebound in air travel. In the Philadelphia five-county area, 1.3 million people are expected to travel 50 miles or more. Triple-A spokeswoman Jana Tidwell says 90% of them will be traveling by car and 7% by air. Tidwell says air travel is a significant reason for the record increase. This weekend is expected to be the busiest of the 12-day period between December 21st and January first. The Philadelphia School District has agreed to provide anti-discrimination training to its staff, as part of the resolution of a federal civil rights complaint by Jewish parents. Philadelphia police arrested another 14-year-old suspect in last Friday's shooting at crowded Christmas Village outside City Hall. The manager of a watch store in the Moorestown Mall was arrested on Tuesday after investigators discovered he allegedly put a hidden camera in the bathroom of the store and secretly recorded underage employees. In South Philly, they are gluing on the feathers and tuning up instruments for the 2025 Mummers Parade.

TikTok and its parent company ByteDance are asking the supreme court to help them block the federal law that would ban the app in January.
